Yan Emond

SFX Designer

Yan was born in France, currently resides in Canada and can speak fluent French and English.

Yan has worked across the SFX and Props departments since 2016. His main focus is creating atmosphere and dressing scenes using all the tools at his disposal. He is experienced in working with smokers, steam, fire, rain towers, wind effects and artificer tools for bullet hits, small charges and burns.

Yan works closely with MUFX artists and actor dressing as well as working with DoPs to bring their vision to life. Also holding a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL), Yan can bring armourer experience to a shoot.

With a hands on attitude and the ability to adapt, Yan is an asset to any project.
